Mini Installation
The smart lock the size of a credit card
Raixer Mini connects up to two doors to the internet. It allows you to open them remotely or authorize temporary access. From the app, you can know who, when and how they were opened. It serves for the gate and the dwelling.
What is access control?
To connect the Raixer Mini to the intercom you will need:
- Your Raixer Mini and the connection cables included in the kit.
- Internet connection via WiFi at the installation point.
- A light point 1.5 meters from where you are going to install it.
- Multimeter
- Screwdriver
- Scissors
- Cable stapler
To connect the Raixer Mini to the intercom you will need:
- An electric door opener or lock without memory.
- 12V power supply
- Chisel and hammer to recess the door frame.
Preparation
Does the intercom make a sound?
Check that the building's doorman rings the intercom of the dwelling where you install Raixer Mini.
Does the intercom open?
Check that your intercom opens the front door when you press the open button.
Is the cable okay?
Check that the microUSB cable reaches the socket from the point where you will install Raixer Mini.
Connecting Raixer Mini to the internet
- Plug the adapter into the power outlet.
- Connect the micro USB cable to the Raixer device. The light will flash blue. If not, press the lower left button on the device with a pen.
- Install the Raixer app on your mobile.
- Open the app and tap “Add”.
- Exit the app and choose the new wifi network created by Raixer in your mobile settings. It will be called Raixer-XXXX.
- Return to the Raixer app and tap “Start configuration”. Choose the home wifi network, enter the password and tap “Connect”.
- The Raixer light will blink slowly in turquoise blue. The device is connected to the internet!

Connecting Raixer Mini to the intercom
- Raixer Mini has five outputs on each side. Each bay (P1, P2) is independent, so you can use them to operate two different doors. Here you have a connection diagram.
- Pin 1: GND, ground or mass
- Pin 2: Sensor
- Pin 3: NO or normally open
- Pin 4: COM or common
- Pin 5: NC or normally closed

- Use pins 1 and 2 of Raixer Mini to detect the voltage variation that occurs in the intercom when the doorbell is rung.
- Use pins 3 and 4 of Raixer Mini to close the circuit and press the intercom button.
- If you are also going to connect it to the electric door opener, use pins 3 and 4 on the free side to close the electric door opener circuit.
- Open the intercom cover and locate the connection terminal. In the photo below, you will see a green terminal, with numbers and letters above each connector.
- You must identify on that terminal strip which outputs correspond to those of the open button, the ground or mass and the doorbell or sensor. You can check if your intercom is in these tables. If it is, you will save this step and can jump directly to “Connecting Raixer Mini to the internet”.
- If not, it does not mean that your intercom is not compatible! You will simply need a multimeter to locate them. We will tell you about it next.

Find the GND output
- Connect the multimeter and activate the mode to measure continuous voltage.
- Connect the black cable to the COM terminal of the multimeter and the red cable to VΩmA
- Try all possible combinations between the intercom strip terminals until the multimeter shows the highest positive voltage.
- If the voltage is negative, reverse the connection of the cables: connect the red where the black and the black where the red.
- Connect the GND output of Raixer Mini to the terminal where the black multimeter cable is connected
Find the output to Sensor
- Continue with the DC voltage measurement mode on the multimeter and do not disconnect the black wire.
- Connect the red multimeter cable to each of the intercom terminals. It will show a constant voltage. If when you press the doorbell button, the voltage differential varies significantly, that is the sensor terminal.
You can connect output 2 of the Raixer device to any terminal, go down to the intercom with your mobile phone and check on the Raixer app device configuration screen the voltage variation when you press the doorbell. If the variation is notable, you will have found the terminal to which to connect output 2 of the Raixer device.
Find the outputs to NO and COM
The objective of these steps is to bridge the open button on your intercom. With this, you will be able to carry out the opening action both on the intercom and on Raixer Mini.
- Connect the multimeter and activate the tester or beep mode and join the black and red wires, if the multimeter beeps, then it works correctly.
- Locate the terminals of the intercom strip that correspond to the opening button plates.
- Place the red or black cable on one of the intercom terminals and test on the other plates until the multimeter beeps. Repeat this step with the other terminal.
- Check that these two terminals are correct: connect the multimeter cables to these two plates and press the opening button.
- If the multimeter beeps, the connection will be correct.
- If the multimeter does not beep, repeat the previous step until you locate the correct plates
- Connect the NO and COM outputs of Raixer Mini to the two plates. The connection order does not matter.
Connecting Raixer Mini to the door opener or electric strike
- Hollow out the door frame to embed the electric door opener.
- Connect the electric door opener cables to the power source, according to the electrical specifications of these parts.
- Connect the electric door opener to the NO and COM outputs of Raixer Mini.

Calibrating Raixer Mini for Auto Access
Calibrating Raixer Mini correctly is necessary if you want to use the Auto Access function or ring to open the gate. Calibration consists of making the device aware:
- What is the voltage existing in the intercom when no one is ringing the doorbell.
- What is the voltage when the doorbell rings?
Don't worry if you don't know what amps or volts are. The auto-calibration will guide you step by step so you can configure it correctly.
- Press on the Raixer Mini you want to auto-calibrate.
- Go to Settings > Doors > Edit, press on the door you use for Auto Access, usually, it will be the street door. Confirm.
- Make sure that the port you are configuring is actually the one that Raixer Mini is connected to. On the Connect your door screen you will see a diagram of the device and an arrow indicating the port. They must match.
- Press the Auto Calibrate button and follow the app instructions.
