Pin 1: GND, ground or mass
Pin 2: Sensor
Pin 3: NO or normally open
Pin 4: COM or common
Use pins 1 and 2 of Raixer Mini to detect the voltage variation that occurs in the intercom when the doorbell is rung.
Use pins 3 and 4 of Raixer Mini to close the circuit and press the intercom button.
If you are going to connect it also to the electric door opener, use pins 3 and 4 on the side that is free to close the circuit of the electric door opener.
Open the intercom cover and locate the connection terminal. In the photo below, you will see a green terminal, with numbers and letters above each connector.

You will need to identify on that strip which outputs correspond to the open button, ground or mass, and the bell or sensor. You can check if your intercom is in these tables. If it is, you will save this step and can jump directly here.
If not, it does not mean that your intercom is not compatible! You will simply need a multimeter to locate them. We will tell you about it next.
Find the GND output
Connect the multimeter and activate the mode to measure continuous voltage.
Connect the black cable to the COM terminal of the multimeter and the red cable to VΩmA
Try all possible combinations between the intercom strip terminals until the multimeter shows the highest positive voltage.
If the voltage is negative, reverse the connection of the cables: connect the red where the black and the black where the red.
Connect the GND output of Raixer Mini to the terminal where the black multimeter cable is connected
Find the output to Sensor
Continue with the DC voltage measurement mode on the multimeter and do not disconnect the black wire.
Connect the red multimeter cable to each of the intercom terminals. It will show a constant voltage. If when you press the doorbell button, the voltage differential varies significantly, that is the sensor terminal.
You can connect output 2 of the Raixer device to any terminal, go down to the intercom with your mobile phone and check on the Raixer app device configuration screen the voltage variation when you press the doorbell. If the variation is notable, you will have found the terminal to which to connect output 2 of the Raixer device.
Find the outputs to NC and COM
The objective of these steps is to bridge the open button on your intercom. With this, you will be able to carry out the opening action both on the intercom and on Raixer Mini.
Connect the multimeter and activate the tester or beep mode and join the black and red wires, if the multimeter beeps, then it works correctly.
Locate the terminals of the intercom strip that correspond to the opening button plates.
Place the red or black cable on one of the intercom terminals and test on the other plates until the multimeter beeps. Repeat this step with the other terminal.
Check that these two terminals are correct: connect the multimeter cables to these two plates and press the opening button.
If the multimeter beeps, the connection will be correct.
If the multimeter does not beep, repeat the previous step until you locate the correct plates
Connect the NC and COM outputs of Raixer Mini to the two plates. The connection order does not matter.

If you also need to lock the house door remotely, take a look at Raixer Pro.
Can I double-turn the key on my home door and open it with Raixer Mini?
Raixer Mini uses the Raixer platform, in which we employ the most secure encryption methods when transmitting data. To prevent cyberattacks, all communications between the app and the backend are encrypted using SSL 3 certificates.
Once you have created your user in the app, your password is encrypted in the backend and always transmitted via SSL (HTTPS). The application passwords are encoded (hash) with 2 different encoding algorithms. In addition, communications between the hardware and the backend are encrypted using SHA-256. Each device uses 256-bit keys to encrypt and decrypt communications.

Incidents. Raixer Mini.
Select Device > Settings > Update WiFi of the device and follow the app instructions.
Have you put the intercom cover back on? In most models, the intercom speaker is part of the cover. Don't worry, it happens a lot! Also, make sure that none of the cables that were there before the Raixer Mini installation have been lost.
If you disconnect Raixer Mini from the power, the device will stop working. Once you plug it back in, the device will automatically reconnect to WiFi.
If there's no power in the home (for example, because the fuses have blown), Raixer Mini will appear offline in the app and the device won't work during that period. You can still use the physical keys. Once power is restored, Raixer Mini will reconnect to WiFi automatically without issues.
If you think this situation is common in your home, we recommend using Raixer Pro.
If the WiFi goes out in the dwelling, Raixer Mini will appear offline in the app. If you have Contingency mode activated, users will be able to ring the doorbell to open the portal.
What is the Contingency mode?
My Raixer Mini device appears offline, what could happen?
My Raixer Mini device appears offline for a few minutes and then reconnects
No. The device does not detect the call that is made on the doorbell of the home door. Instead, you can open it with a missed call or with the app.
Yes. Raixer Mini detects the voltage variation that occurs in the intercom when they ring the doorbell from the street door.
It is an expected behavior of some doorbells and intercoms. On some occasions, these doorbells have this security system (they don't open – neither with Raixer Mini nor by pressing the button–) unless they call before.
For these situations, the Auto Access mode works great (the user calls and the portal opens unattended).
This is usually due to micro-cuts produced in your wireless router. We recommend Google WiFi. It works great with Raixer!
It's a very common issue and is usually related to WiFi or power. In these cases, you can:
Check the date and time
Check that there is WiFi and power in the home. Also, that the device is connected to the power.
Check that the password or name has not been changed of the WiFi network. If this is your case, here you can learn to update the WiFi password.
My Raixer Mini device appears offline for a few minutes and then reconnects
I can't get Raixer Mini to connect to the internet
How do I update the WiFi network password?
It's probably a router problem, try connecting to a shared network from a mobile phone. Do the installation like this and then solve the problem with the ISP. You may need to change the DNS. If it disconnects often, replace the router with a better one (e.g. google Wifi).
If you are the “owner” of the device you can delete it and reconfigure it from scratch. It will give you the 7-day trial, but it will be unconfigured.

Connecting Raixer Mini to the intercom
Raixer Pro has 4 outputs on each lateral bay (P1, P2) and 11 outputs on the central bay (P3). Each bay (P1, P2, P3) is independent, so you can use them to operate three different doors. Below you have a connection diagram:
Use pins A and B of P1 and P2 of Raixer Pro to detect the voltage variation that occurs in the intercom when the doorbell is rung.
Use pins C and D of P1 and P2 of Raixer Pro to close the circuit and press the intercom button.
If you are going to use a standard 18650 battery (to guarantee the electrical supply in case of contingency) connect it to pins 1 and 2 of P3.
If you are going to use motion and/or open/closed sensors, connect them to pins 3 and 4 of P3, respectively. Use the ground you will find on pin 6 of P3.
If you are going to power the Raixer Pro directly from a light point, use pins 6 and 7 of P3.
If you are going to use an electric door opener, connect it to pin 8 of P3. Use the ground you will find in pin 6 of P3.
If you are going to use an electric piston, connect it to pin 9 of P3. Use the ground you will find on pin 6 of P3.
Open the intercom cover and locate the connection terminal. In the photo below, you will see a green terminal, with numbers and letters above each connector.
You must identify in that strip which outputs correspond to those of the open button, the ground or mass and the doorbell or sensor.
If you can't find them, it doesn't mean that your intercom is not compatible! You simply need a multimeter to locate them. We tell you below.
Connect the GND output of Raixer Pro to the terminal where the black multimeter cable is connected
The objective of these steps is to bridge the opening button of your intercom. With this, you will achieve that the press to open is carried out both on the intercom and on Raixer Pro.

The piston or bolt is a magnetic lock controlled through Raixer Pro. Using this part you will be able to lock the door. You will have a similar level of security to closing the door with a double turn of the key.
The pistons can withstand more than 1,000kg of force. It will depend on the model you acquire. The most common for residential doors are fail secure pistons.
See differences between pistons fail safe and fail secure.
Raixer Pro is compatible with any 12V DC piston. Depending on where you are going to install it, you will need it to be fail safe or fail secure:
If you are going to use it on the home door, use fail safe pistons.
If you're going to use it on a building entrance door, use fail secure pistons.
If you've made it this far, you're probably wondering about the differences between fail safe and fail secure pistons.
Fail safe piston: the piston unlocks when it does not have electrical power.
Fail secure piston: the piston unlocks when it has electrical current.
Below you can see a video about the differences between fail-safe and fail-secure locks:
Fail-safe locks or pistons
Fail safe pistons are unlocked when they have no electrical power. To close or lock them, they must be connected to a power source. If they are disconnected from the power source, the door will automatically unlock and allow people to enter or exit the space. That's why they are safe or secure – they're safe for people; not for the space!
Most fail-safe locks are used on the main entrance doors of offices or distributors. A very typical application of fail-safe locks are magnetic locks, which by design require connection to the light to function.
Fail-secure locks or pistons
The fail secure pistons are locked by default. If they are not connected to a power source, the piston will remain closed. To open or unlock them, they need to be connected to the power.
Usually, fail-secure pistons are used in sensitive areas, for example, the IT room or the front door. However, as the door remains closed during emergencies, you will normally need to add a mechanism to allow it to open. You can use the Raixer Pro button to unlock the piston and open the door.
Fail secure pistons are also often used on exterior staircase doors. Since in the event of a fire, these doors must remain closed to block the fire.
Fail-safe locks and exit safety in emergency situations
Many people believe that fail-safe locks are designed to allow faster exits in emergency situations. This is called evacuation, and evacuation must be guaranteed, regardless of the lock you use.
This means that with a fail-safe or fail-secure lock you will always be able to exit through the door - whether it's an emergency or not. The terminology of fail-safe or fail-secure refers to the entrance - also in case of emergency.
If all doors were inaccessible during a fire, firefighters or medical personnel would have difficulty accessing the space.
Using a battery in fail-safe locks
It is relatively common to install backup batteries to prevent fail-safe locks from unlocking during a power outage. The truth is that doing so makes little sense. Fail-safe locks with battery would behave in an equivalent way to fail-secure locks.
The main reason for using batteries with fail-safe locks is with glass doors. Since magnetic locks (by definition, all are fail-safe) look aesthetically pleasing. Therefore, the customer needs a fail-secure magnetic lock - that's why they install the battery.
Electric door openers are not always fail-secure
Electric door openers or latches can be configured as fail-safe or fail-secure. Depending on the position and polarity of the solenoids (magnets) inside the door opener, they can act as fail-safe or fail-secure.
Security. Raixer Pro.
No. The cylinder will remain intact after installing the electric latch and/or piston. However, note that if you double-turn, you won't be able to open the door using Raixer Pro.
Raixer Pro uses the Raixer platform, in which we employ the most secure encryption methodss when transmitting data.
Yes. Once you have connected Raixer Pro to the electric latch, you can open the door using the device.
These are the available opening methods for the house door:
Missed call: We associate you with a phone number for the house door. From the app, you can authorize phone numbers to open by making missed calls.
App: Authorize other Raixer users to open by pressing the Open House button in the app.
Yes. If you choose to install Raixer Pro with door opener and piston, you will be able to lock the house door through the piston.
Yes. Although Raixer Pro does not replace your set of physical keys, if you choose to install it with an electric door opener and piston, you can stop using them and open using the Raixer app.
If you want to use your keys again with this installation, just disable the piston from the app.
No. If you double-turn, Raixer Pro will activate the electric latch to push the latch and unlock the electric piston, but your door will be blocked by the bolts. Therefore, even if you push, it won't open.
Note that if you choose to install with an electric piston or bolt, the level of security is similar to double-turning, so it's not necessary to do so.
Yes. You can connect up to two sensors:
A motion sensor, which closes or opens a circuit to detect movement.
An open or closed sensor, which closes or opens a circuit when opening or closing the door.
Yes. Raixer Pro includes a housing designed to connect standard 18650 batteries.
The battery is designed so that in cases where the electrical supply is temporarily cut off, the piston and door opener continue to function.
Product. Raixer Pro.
You have three ways to open the door with your Raixer Pro:
Auto Access: Configure a time slot in which Raixer Mini will open the door it's connected to after the doorbell is rung. Users don't need an app, internet, or phone. It's the most convenient option for the front door.
Opening with a missed call: Authorize your users' phone numbers and let them open with a missed call. They don't need an app or internet on their phone. It's the best option for opening the portal and home.
Opening with app: Allows other Raixer users to open the door with the app. It's the best option for permanent access (maintenance or cleaning staff) or long-term users (fixed tenants or family). You can also use the app to open the doors when your users arrive.
Can I double-turn the key on my home door and open it with Raixer Mini?
With Raixer Pro you can open and close up to 3 doors autonomously (up to 2 portal doors).
No. Installation is not included in the price of Raixer Pro.
Yes, the app allows you to register multiple phone numbers, configure app users who can open the door. If you prefer, you can also allow the door to open whenever someone rings the doorbell (this is the best option for the building entrance door).
Raixer Mini can also be used by your guests, friends and family. Raixer subscriptions depend on the number of devices. With the basic plan you can authorize as many app users as you need and up to 10 simultaneous phone numbers.
You can learn more about Subscriptions.
No, you can only open the door with the app or let these people enter the building or dwelling after they make a missed call. You can also schedule time slots to open the door automatically after someone rings the doorbell.
The kit of Raixer Pro includes:
A Raixer Pro device
A 12V power supply
A 1.5m power cord
Three cables to connect Raixer Pro to intercoms; electric door openers or pistons
Note that the kit does not include electric door openers, pistons, sensors, or other hardware materials that you may need in some cases.
Yes, for Raixer Pro to work you need to connect it to a power point. The kit you receive when you purchase it includes a 12V power supply.
Yes, Raixer's plans include telephone support for the subscription period.
Incidents. Raixer Pro.
Have you put the intercom cover back on? In most models, the intercom speaker is part of the cover. Don't worry, it happens a lot! Also, make sure that none of the cables that were there before the installation of Raixer Pro have been lost.
If you have fitted a 18650 battery to Raixer Pro, the device will use this battery to remain operational until it runs out.
If you haven't installed the battery or it has run out, Raixer Pro will stop working and unlock the electric piston (if you have installed it). You will be able to open using physical keys.
No. The device does not detect the call that occurs at the doorbell of the house. Instead, you can open it with a missed call or with the app.
Yes. Raixer Pro detects the voltage variation that occurs in the intercom when the doorbell is rung from the street door.
It is an expected behavior of some intercoms and door entry systems. On some occasions, these intercoms have this security system (they don't open - neither with Raixer Pro nor by pressing the button -) unless they call before.
For these situations, the Auto Access mode works great (the user calls and the gate opens unattended).
It's a very common issue and is usually related to WiFi or power. In these cases, you can:
Check the date and time
Check that there is WiFi and power in the home. Also, that the device is connected to the power.
My Raixer Pro device appears offline for a few minutes and then reconnects
I can't get Raixer Pro to connect to the internet
How do I update the WiFi network password?
If you are the device owner you can delete it and reconfigure it from scratch. The 7-day trial will start again, although you will have to reconfigure it.
Remember that owners are the only ones who can enter payment and billing information.
General. App
You can download the app from your Google Play app store, if you use Android or App Store, if you use iOS devices. Here are the direct links:
To transfer ownership, you must be the owner of the device, you must access "Settings" and "Transfer ownership", a QR code will be generated that you must share with the person who will receive the device's ownership. You have 15 days to scan this code from the Raixer app with your account in "Add" and "Scan QR code".
Yes. In fact, we believe that testing the app before deciding on your purchase is the most recommended step. To do this:
Open it and create a user. You can use your email or Facebook. Remember to confirm your email by clicking on the link we send you.
Add our demo devices. To do this, press Add > Scan QR code and paste these links into the QR code URL field:
At Raixer we like transparency. That's why both devices are real and are connected 24/7 in Raixer's offices. This way you can check not only the app's usability but also the platform's robustness. If it crashes, those devices will also stop working.
The difference is that when transferring ownership, we grant all permissions on the devices, including updating subscriptions (only the owner can perform this action), while when authorizing another user, we can do so as a user or administrator, these only have access to certain options within the app.
The mobile operating systems compatible with Raixer app are Android and iOS.
No. For now, the Raixer app is only available for iOS or Android devices. You can emulate these devices using an Android emulator for PC or Mac (BlueStack is a good choice).
Yes. You can log in with the same account on multiple mobile phones or tablets. You can also share access to your Raixer devices with other users.
You can learn more about Users of the app.
You will see them organized alphabetically in the app. At a glance, you can see if there is one that appears offline or activate AutoAccess mode.

Missed call or Phone. App
Go to Device > Phone, it is the phone icon at the bottom in the center.
Go to Device > Phone and tap on Add number, on the door you want to authorize.
You can give that phone number unlimited access to your door. To do this, turn on the Unlimited Access switch. It is useful for users with recurring access to the home.
If, on the contrary, you prefer to authorize that phone number only for a certain period of time, turn off the switch and select start and end date and time. Once the date you have defined as the end date has passed, that phone number will not be able to open the door using the missed call.
Access Device > Phone and press Edit on the corresponding door module. There you can modify the authorized phone number or delete it.
If the Raixer device is new –or if you previously deleted the number–, you can get a phone number associated with each door.
Go to Device > Phone > Get phone number.
Go to Device > Phone and activate the switch to Give access to anyone. An additional payment may be required. See more about prices in Subscriptions.
Depending on your subscription, you can have unlimited phone numbers. The basic subscription includes up to 9 authorized phone numbers simultaneously on each door.
Check the section What is the price of the Raixer subscription? for more information on subscriptions.
For each door you connect a Raixer device to, the app associates a local phone number. This is the number you need to share with your users so they can open by making missed calls.
You can allow any phone number to open the door by making a missed call or only those you authorize.
How can I allow any number to open with a missed call?
How do I add an authorized phone number?
No. Users don't have to call your phone number to open. These are phone numbers that are included in the Raixer subscriptions.
No. The phone numbers associated with the doors do not have associated WhatsApp accounts, so they will not be able to open by making WhatsApp calls.
In these cases, your users can notify you via WhatsApp so that you can open the door for them using the Open buttons in the app.
Yes. Some international operators allow WiFi Calling. It's a phone call made over WiFi. In practice, it's equivalent to a normal call, so they can open using it.
It's expected behavior. Don't worry. Since we have to reject the call so that your users aren't charged for the call, some operators have a non-existent number announcement. Therefore, even if the operator says that the number does not exist, the door will open if the calling number is authorized.
Yes. All accesses, including those made by missed call, are recorded in the History tab.
Yes. When you get a phone number for the door, the app asks you if you want to do it. Select the existing phone number, and press Save.
No. Your users will only have to make a missed call. The call is rejected and has no cost for your users.
No. They don't need an internet connection to open with a missed call.
Yes. As long as your users can make a normal phone call, they will be able to open the door correctly using this method.
No. From the moment you delete a phone number, it is no longer authorized and will not be able to open again by making a missed call.
Users. App
Tap on the device you want to share, then go to Users > Add user. Select the user type and share the QR code that has been generated with him or her.
The user with whom you want to share the device must have the app installed and have a confirmed Raixer account on the mobile phone they want to use.
The number of users with access to your devices depends on the subscribed plan.
Check the section What is the price of the Raixer subscription? for more information on subscriptions.
Yes. Go to Device > Users and click on Edit. Edit buttons will appear next to the users. You can temporarily disable or permanently delete that user.
Yes. All access, including app users, are recorded in the History tab.
Raixer's app has three types of user roles. For each device, you can be a type of user, and depending on which one you are, you'll have different permissions :
Administrator: are the administrators. They have permissions to open the door; manage opening with a missed call; connect or schedule Auto Raixer Pro; add new users or administrators or deactivate users; check the history; configure the doors, change the device name; or update WiFi.
Owner: is the owner of the device. It has the same permissions as the Administrator profile. In addition, it is the only one that can pay for the device subscription. You can also transfer ownership of the device to stop being the owner.
Users: are users with fewer permissions. This type of user can only open the door from the app.
Installer: You will be the owner of the device until you transfer it during the initial setup process. This profile is only available for some distributors.
Yes. You can log in with the same account on multiple mobile phones or tablets. You can also share access to your Raixer devices with other users.
How do I authorize other users?
How many users can access my devices?
Someone helps me with check-ins, what would be the best user configuration?
It's a very common case among our clients. The most used configuration would be:
You as the owner of the devices. This way you can change the billing information and the payment method.
The person who helps you as an Administrator. They'll be able to add and remove authorized phones as well as open doors from the app.
For security reasons, we don't recommend sharing with this person your Raixer account credentials.

Don't worry. You can still use your traditional key to open the front door or the house door. When you install Raixer devices, you don't disable your current locking system. You can also ask another user who has permissions on your device to open the door with the app. If you have configured a time slot with Auto Raixer Pro mode, you can open the front door simply by ringing the doorbell.
Try these two actions:
Pull down to refresh in the app.
Log out of the app and log back in with your username and password.
If you can't log in to your Raixer account, reset your password. Simply click on “Recover password” and follow the steps we send to your email.
Probably you need to recalibrate your device. You can autocalibrate your device in Device > Settings > Edit > Front Door > Autocalibrate and follow the app's instructions.
Check that there is wifi coverage and power in your home. Also check that the wifi password has not been changed. In that case, you must reconnect Raixer to that wifi network with the new password in the app.
