Requirements to open doors automatically

Opening doors automatically is the option with the least friction for users: just ring the doorbell for the door to open. Administrators can choose whether this behavior will be restricted to a time slot or will be 24h.

How to open doors with Raixer?

Connect Raixer Mini or Raixer Pro to the intercom or garage door motor, as it appears in the image above.
Configure the device as indicated in the app.
From the app, press on the device > New rule, and define the time slot in which you want the door to open when the doorbell rings.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ring to Open mode

Can I schedule a Ring to Open session in advance?

Yes. From the app, administrators can create Timbrar sessions to open in advance. For example, so that the door opens automatically between 5pm and 7pm next Tuesday.

Can doors be opened automatically for 24 hours?

Yes. Administrators can adjust Ring to Open to be always active.

Can a necessary ringing duration be set?

Yes. Administrators can set a minimum ringing duration for Raixer to open the door automatically. This way, you avoid, for example, the commercial mailman opening when ringing the doorbell.

What happens if I lose WiFi?

Contingency Mode activates a Ring to Open session when the device loses WiFi connection.

Can a limit of openings be set during a session?

Yes. Administrators can set a maximum number of automatic openings in each Ring to Open session. Once the limit is reached, the session will end.
